I was suffering from Morton’s neuroma, and walking was becoming really painful. My doctor told me to try metatarsal pads for relief. As a result, I am able to stay on my feet pain-free, and I merely throw them out when I am done (or about to shower). Once piece of advice: Be sure to remove the pad BEFORE getting in the shower - otherwise, the pad is really hard to remove!
